Any recent reports? Will the sandies still be surfacing at all after the front?

Guess nobody knows fer shore. Can't hurt trying anyway. I'm actually tired of fishing Grapevine and heading to RC and give it a try. Good luck on the Vine.

There have been huge numbers of birds pointing the way lately. The cold front will have the fish stacked up on humps.

It's about time for the fishing to get really good for big 'uns by the island.

Good Luck and hope this helps.

PS. Probably not going to find much surfacing unless you're up by the bubbles. They should be deep.

chrysops, where are you planning on putting in?

I think we'll be out there on saturday. If you see a little guy driving a doo-doo brown astroglass, that would be me.

I was out last Sunday all around the Marshall Creek area. The only thing I did is bump alot of stumps. The water is pretty low. If I were going out again this weekend, I would stay out in the lake and follow the birds.

Thanks for the info. I'll be launching at Dove BR about 7:30 AM. Rain or shine.
