My family has rented out a Lake House for the upcoming weekend. Anyone every fish this lake?
I may just throw out some chum Friday and see what happens over the weekend.
I tend to over think fishing. Please help me. When I am over complicating something please kick me in the face. Hard.

Been a while for me. I know that there are a lot of carp there. Don't know about any biggies, 8 to 12 pounds should be doable. Guy I know lives there and feeds them from his dock. Lots of carp come to his feed.

Ditto what Curt said, but add on a bunch of Muddlers Carp and Helix Buffs.

I think there were some LSCB fish-ins on the lake, one last year and another a couple of years ago.
Also, if memory serves, wasn't there a golden algae bloom 3 or 4 years ago? That may be why the carp were modestly sized; the big ones died off.

If you are renting where I think your renting the catfish is good off the dock. Sandbass and a few stipers on shade have also been good.

Lots of small carp and buffalo, lots of muddlers and some mirrors. Great numbers lake, not a real good big fish lake.
Fished a carp tournament out there a few years back, pretty much everyone caught fish all night long, nothing over 10lbs save for a few buffalo up to about 15lbs I think.
