i thought i would let everyone know about the trip with my wife last week. she usually runs the shop while i am at work. she keeps the customers in fishing stuff while i work a regular job. i got home early and wanted to go see about catching some crappie. she wanted to go too. we shut the shop down for the evening and started our quest for a fishing license. i had not bought her license yet. we started off at both the stores in tioga and no license. buck creek was closed. pilot point had 1 that sold license. we finally got the license after 5 or 6 stops. we finally got on the lake and caught a good mess of fish. but, just make sure if you are coming up here you bring the license or you will spend a lot of time looking for them. the triangle store here in tioga has changed hands and the new owner has to re apply for them. thanks and good fishing to everyone. gene

You say your wife kept your customers "in fishing stuff"....I have to assume you run some sort of tackle shop.
Uh, have you not been fishing in the last 9 months?
I mean, everyone knows, buy a new one every August.....right?
anthonyhicks101 for president! Greatness right there.

i fish several times a week. she only goes out a few times in a season. she just likes to get away every once in a while. i should buy her license at the start of the season but just didnt do it. we dont sell live bait or license but have most other stuff.

Marina or Lantana Lodge? If Lantana has guides that work out of there (I don't know, just asking), shouldn't they have them?

If you are in a bind call and buy over the phone or online, they will give you a customer # to show Game Warden if needed.

Yep, just purchase your license online at www.tpwd.state.tx.us and you'll never have to worry about "hunting" down your license again You can use the confirmation number as proof of license purchase until you get your actual license in the mail...no worries.
