If I could catch them like this everytime, I'd only have to catch bait twice a year. Gizzard Shad Whole Bunch of Shad BigJohn

we were catching big gizzard shad like that on the clear form back in march....I ended up with 2.5 gallons of shad gizzards....no more paying 10 bucks for a pint

It's fun, one time me and a buddy went to a creek to catch some shad and I hit this deep pocket, Lets just say it took me and him and could have used one more person to pull it up on the bank. Filled a cooler in one toss just like that!

I've hit the thread fins like that this past winter. Would definitely like to hit the gzzards like that.

having a fight when your cast netting is awsome. One time i was cast netting in a redfish farm drainige canal for mullet and crabs and as soon as it hit the water it nearly yanks my arm out of socket. there was a 22 in redfish caught in my net. We released it of course. and one time i netted a 10 lbs buffalo. that was quite the thrill when your expecting shad or perch
