Got to the lake with my sons and nephew yesterday morning late, around 8:00. Still managed to get there before the wind picked up a bit. We ended up fishing just a little north east of Pine Island and were in the middle of just a few boats. Started catching nice white bass with a few small stripers mixed in. Action pretty much died down by 11:30 but we'd managed between 40 and 50 fish with two stripers over 20". All caught on jigging spoons in around 25 to 30 feet. Could've caught more, but the wind blew us around a bit.
They seemed to like the white jigging spoon the best. Real funny bite--they would hit the spoon at the top of the bounce, then would run up toward the boat--hard to set the hook that way! I cant remember that kind of strike before.

Depth was gradually dropping from 25' down to 33' in the area we were fishing....just a bit to the north of Pine Island. Didn't see any being caught right off of Pine Island, though when we were there.
