hey.. i catch whatever swims.. i aint picky LOL!! that first 12 hour trip the deckhands were getting frustrated with me cause I wouldnt drop below the bluefish out on the rocks.. LOL!! i would drop slow, until i started getting bites... then WHAM!! bluefish... it was FUN!! LOL! and it gave you and maggie the shark bait yall needed hehe man, i still have bruises from that trip!!

Hey.. you were trying to stick a hook in him.. most of us would bite somebody for trying that as well!

I've caught Bluefish since the 70's we used to catch some over 10# off the piers in North Carolina and there were schools a bit farther offshore that had fish over 20#. They don't call them Chompers for nothing... the big ones will do serious damage that can require stitches. We used to use a 2-3# Blue for King Fish.. bait and they used to catch Kings off the piers over 50# using live Bluefish all summer... a 30# King was a small fry.

Most of the time you can catch bait sized Bluefish under the lights off piers in the surf using white crappie jigs.. just take some pliers and gloves to handle them.

Just talked to gent, he and a buddy are deciding on committing to Nueve Tuna or TBB'10.
Haven't heard from the 3 from above, or the 5 tunaheads, but expect something soon.

go ahead and leave me on the TFF trip please. i wont be fishing the championship bass tourney the weekend after, so no family woes cant make thier charity stuff this weekend, and thats a requirement to fish the championship
