ok thanks, ive been fishing the pond by bryant irvin at target and caught alot of bass the last couple of weeks. then they all sudden quit biting. I didnot know that was known as gostie. thanks for the info. Ill go back and try for carp now. Is the bottom half considered the one closest to target. there is a dam and then the other section of the lake goes back to sevice road at saltgrass steak house. thanks

There are carp in both parts but the bottom half seems to have the bigger fish. Its pretty weedy at the moment tho

Giving up the ghost, so to speak, has been something we have tried very hard to not do publicly for obvious (but not obvious enough I guess) reasons.

As with most of the shallow ponds found locally, it tends to shut down this time of year. It becomes Turtle City about now. I refuse to fish it from May to October because I don't like pb red ear sliders...

The thing is....its a tiny little lake in S. Ft Worth that has done a few nice fish....if I have learned anything in the last few weeks with that GIANT mirror being posted caught with in 2 miles of my house its this....stop worrying about were a place is and start looking into the ponds in your own backyard....ghostie is a cool place for sure and I thank Brett for letting us in on it....but its not that great...so grab a can of corn and try the local lake you *really* never know what you might catch
