Me and the dad went out to ray rob yesterday and put out 22 jugs, anywhere from 15'-27' deep. Using cut shad on circle hooks, this is usually the time of the year when we come out with our best numbers but we caught 10 blues and channels in 12 hours fishing from 2pm to Midnight. Water temp was about 73 degrees, only found eggs in one fish. The water clarity was great. Can someone tell me what the deal is and why the cats aren't biting? Or something different that I should try?

Yes I know the problem! You have the wrong name! Sounds to me like you did fairly decent!

Find the banks with carp all over them, then fish out from there about 4-8 ft deep. Cats should be there.

May have been a little deep..I agree with basstracker the past few weeks I've been catching 'em in less than 6' of water. Only had one slow weekend, which was last Saturday after the rain and wind shift on Friday.
