Was watching the show today and noticed that Wilcox broke one of his rods while lipping a fish. He looked at it and didn't say anything. Thought it was tough watching a good rod do down like that.

Guys,
I will tell you all this.
I have fished many times with Bill and I have broke 2 of his rods....not the normal fishing breaking either...LOL
Closed one in a rod box and stepped on the other. Both rods were his sponsor rods.
He reacts the same off camera as he does on. He doesn't let anything bother him and he stays cool.
I watched him miss a 6 lber 2 times yesterday and loose her on the last try and he just let it go.
When you fish as long as his has and seen just about anything and everything there is, nothing ruffles your feathers anymore......even if you are old as dirt

As much as he fishes, takes his rods in and out of his compartments, swings in fish, lends them to guests, etc. I assume one puckers out every now and then.

...as another that has fished with Bill, He has alot of rods in that rod box....I bet there was 14-15 in there when I was on his boat !!
