It was a lot of fun but for us Team Livewell it was a sandbass fest and a beating in the wind. Most of the hybrids were caught at the south end around crappie island and the CI trough running toward the dam. Needless to say we stayed further north. We were on fish most of the day and threw it all in every color I think. Even pink for Georgie. I forgot my crocks though which could have been the problem.
I am already looking forward to next year and the many practice sessions between now and then.

Thanks to all who came out. I think everybody caught there share of fish. It seemed to me that the hybrids were tough to find as the day went on. It was great to meet everyone and thanks for donating your fish. Thank you team richardson for cleaning the catch. All the fish and the proceeds will be donated to the meals of kindness event in Athens Texas. Here are the final results.
1st team randino 18.00 lbs
2nd team richardson 16.70 lbs
3rd team wood and spoon 14.75 lbs
4th team reel rednecks 2 14.61 (also won big fish with a 5.21 hybrid.)
5th team salado 14.10
6th team reel rednecks 1 13.95
7th team sharky 2 11.16
8th team cnc outdoors 11.12

we caught them on swim baits and cranks in shallow water only. Marked several nice schools in 30+ but coulnt get them to hit. Ticket was finding active fish in shallow water. We found this later in the day in 14 ft. We enjoyed meeting yall. Hope to see you guys next year.
