I refuse to use a Fluke unless the bait is perfectly straight. I even keep them in a 3700 box to make sure the tails dont get all retarded lookin. I refuse to use a Horny Toad unless the feet will lay perfectly flat and straight. I also keep these in a 3700 box to make sure they dont get retarded. When I buy soft baits I will compair other bags of the same color and brand just to make sure I get that perfect mix or shade of color I am lookin for. (You would be surprised at the color variations of the Zoom Bull Frog color.) On baits with featherd treble tails I study several of them and pick the one I like best. Not too much feather, but not too little either! When I buy crankbaits I find myself studying the eyes to make sure they are not cross eyed. (No fish want to eat a cross eyed bait fish you know!) Am I alone and do I need help???

Oh.....and when I dip the tail of a bait in dip-n-dye then none better get anywhere on that bait except on the tail!

I tend to do the same with my soft baits: I make sure they aren't all kinked up or anything. I swap out the trebles and split rings on my hardbaits if I buy brands other than my own product line. Other than that, Reaction Attack Lures are premium baits that do not require tweaking unless you simply want to.

Well on my dropshot it has to stand out perfectly, and I want my crankbaits to run right, but other than that, I don't give it much thought.

My hands are chartruse and smell like garlic at the end of the day! Sometimes you can actually see my chartruse finger prints on a green pumpkin bait!

I just fish for fish that like crooked, badly dipped, crosseyed, bad feathered baits. If ther're more picky than that then they can go find a perfect meal somewhere else. ha! Only non picky fish get to ride in my Gambler! Hm; maybe thats why I catch so many one eyed fish.

Can you say OCD?????? wow if the fish wants it its goin to eat it no matter what you do to the bait, hooks etc.I can see changin weak hooks for stronger ones, but really you got to use the word "retarded" for a bait that got bent or misshaped. How bout defective or deflicted but "retarded".You should try fishing in your local Cast for Kids event, maybe then you would understand the meaning of retarded cause retarded kids and people fish too.Off my soapbox now.
