Knowing the potlickers pictured, I would have to say they stayed close to Mt Pleasant. Monticello or Cypress Springs.

I'd say either Cypress Springs (night fished there once upon a time and it's a great night fishery) or Sandlin.
Or maybe Welsh?

That was going to be my guess...I cant remember if the one Im thinking of is Mill Creek or Coffee Mill...I went there with my Dad as a kid...Its a small water shed lake in a small East Texas {outside of Athens, I think} town that was LOADED with big fish! Coffee Mill is up by Lake Bonham.
