Fished Decker Monday and Tuesday and fished the San Gabriel at Circleville Wednesday and Thursday. I finally have time to report. Sorry if this is a little long.

Monday 03/24: Fished Decker fom 7 - 10 a.m. using Hellbender/Pet spoon. Caught 7 hybrids, all around 4 lbs. and 4 largemouth, biggest was 5 lbs.

Tuesday 03/25: Fished Decker fom 6:45 - 10:30 a.m. using the hellbender/pet spoon again. Caught 4 hybrids, all around 4 lbs. and 70+ whites, 2 largemouth and 1 crappie. I stayed busy! I had to leave and the whites were still biting.

Wednesday 03/26: Fished Circleville from 10 -1 p.m. using river minnows. Caught 60+ whites and limited out. Most were right below the size limit or I could have limited out with my first 30 or so casts!

Thurday 03/27: Fished Circleville fom 8 - 1 p.m. using river minnows. This time I was able to bring my wife and she had a blast! Caught 100+ whites and limited out. The best part was watching my wife catch fish! I love to bring her and she usually outfishes me.

The whites at Circleville were extremely aggressive. We were using minnows about 3 feet down fom a cork. As we caught a white and it made a run upstream several fish would actually come to the top and stike the cork that was splashing on the surface. Every time we landed a fish at least one more would follow it to the bank. They were real slow on any lures while we were there.

It was a great week. I wish it was that easy all the time.

Do you buy them there when fishing Granger also.

Thanks for the info!

How do you fish that Hellbender/Pet spoon combo? I hear that's pretty productive at Decker. Thanks.
