Not to hijack the post but there is one very important thing to remember and do while you are fishing Squaw Creek this weekend and that is to be VERY VERY conscience of FISH CARE !!! I am sure by now the water is well into the 90's and there has always been a problem with fish caught from warm water and deep. Please have plenty of ice and sure-life products on hand. Also remember these fish have not been in a box in 10 years and will be very stressed and will need to be treated delicate. I am posting the link to the Sure-Life website please take a few moments to go to the site and scroll down to the bottom and watch the videos on fizzing, 3% hyrogyn Peroxcide, and the other 2 videos Tony and Lane have provided on how to treat your livewells. They are very informative and will help keep the fish healthy for a live release.

Thanks for taking the time I hope this tourny is a huge success and look forward to fishing Squaw Ceek again this winter.

If there are a few people that do not get on this site to see this please forward them the link.

It's a 4 fish tournament I say it takes 29 pounds to win it and everybody gets a limit. The smallest sack will be 15 pounds for a 14 pound spread. I expect lots of 20-22 pound sacks.

Great info. Also FnS is requiring at least one member of each time to attend a mandatory meeting on Thursday night in which fish care will be stressed and we will get a demo on fizzing fish. that meeting is open to the public if anyone wants to attend.

3 fish limit I'm guessing it will take 19lbs to win and 4 fish limit it will take 25.5..I've had various buddies fish it the past two weeks and by all reports no giants being caught..Either way I bet it will be a blast..

Guys... you are in for a treat. I got to fish it two weeks ago... they held a small tourney. It was my first time on the lake and I love it. We had close to 25 pounds, but were blown off our big fish. We should have had more weight. I lost a monster that would have put us closer to 30. Once you find them, hang on tight. It should take the mid twenties to win with 4.

Great place... rock bluffs, deep tree lines, ledges, even found some nice grass flats to fish. If the wind is blowing, you can definitely get protcted due to the layout of the lake. It still offered some nice options with the high winds.

I would battle a crowd to get back on the lake for sure.
