Was out early in the AM and managed to get a limit of sandies the fish were suspended on the edges of Sand Bass Ridge and around Fireman's Hump. I also managed to get some on a hump I found in the middle of the lake east of Fireman's Hump. If you guys need the cords shoot me an e-mail. Most of the fish were small with only a few over 14 inches. Will be out morrow morning again.

I'm interested as well. I don't get out to Pool much but I'm curious to see if the sandies are picking up.

Thanks for posting & glad you got on some. I think I know of the hump you're talking about that is east of fireman's out in open water--it's usually a good place for larger sandies in the hot summer & in dead winter. Good Luck To Ya!!

I am on my way out there in a few minutes to check out the evening bite. I found a few more places, however, I want to see if they consistantly produce fish. Here are the cords for the humps east of Dog Head

I have had better luck in the morning it appears they head for the deep once the sun heats up. Let me know if you see any schooling and much luck to you.

Went out again this evening and managed 17 in about 1.5 hours... Picked them up off of Dog Head point and then a few crappie and dink black bass on the north shore line west of Dog Head before Fireman's Hump... Boy it was hot out today.

Anyone been to Joe Pool lately? Was planning an early morning trip tomorrow and was wondering if they were biting?

Can anyone give me specs on Firemans Hump? I have seen on here before where it is but can't seem to find it on a search. I think I will be out there this weekend for Kitties and Sandies. Any info is appreciated.
