I've been fishing a local pond and to date have had really good success. Meaning on any given day I can go out there for a few hours and catch as many as 3 to 7, 1.5 to 2 lb bass.

Well things are changing as the moss has all but taken over. Please see pictures below.

I normally catch most of my bass on T-rigged worms. From time to time I have caught them on wacky rigged senkos, spinner bait, buzz bait and ribbit frogs as well as floating frogs. When I noticed the moss getting thicker I've even walked the edges and picked open pockets and jigged a T-rigged worm with success.

I've spoken with others that just flip right into the moss with some success. FYI, I don't own flipping equipment.

I fish with a 7 ft medium rod and Quantum Aviso Baitcast Reel spooled with Trilene Super Strong 15lb Flurocarbon line.

Any additional advice on how to fish this now moss infected pond?

Johnson silver minnow with straight tail worm as trailer or
a spinner bait skirt, thin the skirt down to about 1/3.

When I need to boost my confidence I go to a few ponds I know of and throw a weightless fluke and slay'm. Even though a 4 year old would have the same success, it sure does make me feel better. smile

I do the same thing. Helps remind myself what a bite feels like, so i quit setting the hook on stumps
