I literally waited 25 min at Hubbard sun (tex queen ramp) on a wakeboard boat that had backed down square in the middle of the two lane ramp to unload. (Of coarse his girlfriend was in the boat and couldn't do a thing to help). Took his sweet time, while there was at least 7 boats waiting to launch / load. And then the gotta turn their stereo up load enough that the people at the harbor can hear it.

Dont even get me started on boat ramp etiquette. I had my moments on the ramp but waved the guy behind me around. It does not take but a few minutes if wind is not blowing to put it on the trailer.
If you need help I will help you.
My wife launches my boat and she is not to shabby at getting it correct.
Back up using one lane only if not go to Walmart and practice.
Have your sh_t ready b-4 you get there or move over to a out of the way place.

Saw a guy a few years back at Ray Bob get his trailer stuck in the rocks at Buck Creek. Guy was backing him down the right ramp facing the water and literally backed half the trailer into the rocks. He didn't just go up the curb, stop when he hit it, then pull forward, no. He backed the entire one side of the trailer into the rocks until the back tire of the TRUCK hit the curb. How do you do that? He got it stuck when we launched and was still stuck when we got back. Its so much fun waiting in line at a two land boat ramp with one not able to be used. I don't know how he gets that thing in and out of the driveway!!!

Was at Lake Nac last Friday evening. There is a turn around area down by the water and there was a guy that had decide the turn around was his personal parking place. It is amazing.

ChiggerBird, holsterguy you fellas are right on. I used Loyd Park for the first and probably last time this year, LOL! I usually use the state park which is an adventure itself, but decided i'd try Loyd to try what I hoped to be an easier launch/load ramp. I'm going back to the state park, LOL!

Sometimes my brother and I will just go to the ramp and sit and watch some of the foolishness that goes on. Entertaining, but frustrating to watch. Back in the day when we used to fish POC a lot we did exactly that. We would get in, clean the fish, shower, get us some adult drinks and head back to the boat ramp and just sit and drink and have a highly entertaining time at the expense of a bunch of dumb arses. People continue to amaze me.

At the Skeeter Tournament few years ago a bad storm blew in Sunday about an hour before finishing time. High winds and thunder and lightning. Some guys boat parked on the bank so I drop my partner off as this individual pulls up and backs down ramp several time to finally get straight. To my suprise the passanger door flew open and this man walked slowely to his beached boat, circled around and on the third try got it on trailer straight. Got out of boat climbed across bed of truck, got back in passenger side and truck pulled up ramp only to stop at top to put rods and lifejackets in storage compartements. Needless to say I forgot I am a christian man....

Today at Tower bay on Lewisville 3 of the 4 lanes were blocked 1 by some fishermen all getting their stuff out of the boat, the second was a large wake boat loading people and stuff and the last was someone with their drive on trailer in the water so far you could only see the bow stop (you know what they were having problems with). So I backed right down the middle of the folks loading and unloading. Both had to walk out of my ramp lane and looked at me like I was at the idiot. I'm glad I didn't see the looks or I may have said something, but on second thought if we don't say something won't the behavior continue ?

I saw a jet ski guy slap a fisherman around at Jordan park one time for correcting him. Pretty funny. He asked him "are you taking smart pills" then boxed his ears.
