I went on Saturday and again Monday, but below the dam,the gates have been wide open the last few days and you can catch quite a few 4 or 5 pounders,I caught mine on fresh shad netted there.The only problem is you catch like 10 drum before a catfish,but I think is worth it since catfish caught are a decent size.Also,if you go on Monday, or weekdays, you won't have people crowding on you.Good luck if you go.
I just want to fish a few days a week!

When you catch those drum you can always cut em up into cutbait zen. But I have never been to granbury as I am in Lubbock.

Is the acess road to the parking lot still locked? That is one long walk but fishing is pretty good when there is water
