 What is best bait to fish is muddy water in May?

Just wanted to get some opinions. With all of this rain, the lakes are muddy. What is the best bait to fish when it is muddy? www.metroplexbassclub.comCheck us out!

My best luck has been with a Black chatterbait or spinnerbait. Might also try a lipless crank.

+1 on Black Chatter Bait.
Single Colorado Blade Spinnerbait.
Big Jigs.
Pretty much anything that will attract a little attention. The fish have to rely more on their lateral lines to pick up vibrations and their eyes will pick up darker colors better than light ones...JMO
I dream of a better world. A world where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned of their motives.

Chartrouse cranks
Black and blue jigs
Red shad "colored" worms
White/chartrouse spinnerbaits
Red/orange rattletraps
Green pumpkin creature baits
Blue Fleck worms

I went yesterday and you couldnt see 1 to 3inches deep. Caught them from a chart/white spinnerbait with colorado blades, some on a perch colored swimjig with a swimbait as a trailer and on blackneon creature baits.
