Spent Friday and Saturday camping on RR so I thought I'd share my results (or lack of...).

Left McKinney Friday at 5am with a south wind @ 5-10 mph. Launched at Johnson Branch at 6:15am with a north wind at 0-5mph frown My spot from two weeks ago was empty due to the wind and weather change. Did a quite a bit of searching but couldn't find 'em. Caught four 10-12" fish.

Went to the camp at 10:30 grabbed a bite and never made it back out...heavy rain until late that afternoon.

Headed out Saturday morning...rain was over, but no wind. Tried some different parts of the lake...into Wolf Creek and Indian Creek...two 10-12" fish after trying 5-6 spots. Went in for a while and headed back out in the afternoon. I put away the S7 and slip sinker rigs and changed over to slabs. That turned out to be a good move. After a little searching, we wore out the sandbass from about 3:00 to 5:00. Didn't use the counter, but three of us were pulling out doubles for about 2 straight hours smile It definitely salvaged the weekend.

I'm not sure where the channel cats were hiding, but I know about a dozen spots where they were not.
