I ended up having to leave early. I fished for about an hour and got one bite on a black and pink tube(rapid thump, bream maybe). I didn't have any minnows though.
It is a good spot def gonna go back there.
Edit: you can tell I am a novice at this. I grew up bank fishing and off piers mostly.

MrRoachie & I fished the 2 small bridges and the big bridge yesterday and I fished a black or dark back/ white or light belly shad soft bait on tandem 1/8oz jigs and left with 21 fish. Panfish Assassin black shad or Bobby Garland Blue Thunder or what I used, a 2 1/2" or 3" Berkley Gulp Alive Smelt, all on the plain jig head are the ticket. MrRoachie caught several on a chart with red flake Bobby Garland Baby Shad on a plain jig. The fish on the 2 little bridges atr mostly on each end set of column's in 8' of water about 5' down. The big bridge had fish holding around 12'-14' down over 22' - 24' of water. Hope this helps. Post your results....with pics.

My Brother-in-Law and I decided to hit the lake for some "fun" fishing yesterday after having a bad day on Lake Tyler the day before in a bass tournament. Guess I was trying to lick my wounds!! lol
Anyways fished for about 4 1/2 hours and brought home 50 slabs. Pepop is DEAD ON about the fishing report!
Good Luck to ya'll.

We ended up with 22 keeper crappie, taken mostly on minnows, couple sandbass, and a cat. Two over 15 inches: Thanks for the tips!
