Can't believe I did this. Always take my pistol out of the truck and take it in the boat with me in case someone breaks into my truck, This morning about 8 I laid it and my Rx sunglasses on top of the trash can just outside the crapper at Pecan Creek ramp. Then walked right past them and went fishing. Didn't realize it til it was too late. .40 cal. Taurus semi-auto. In case any of you know anything about it,please post. I filled out a report with the State Park Police. Thanks, Tod

I'm more concerned about whose hands it may have fallen into than recovering it. Just hope they don't use it in the wrong way.

I have read stories about laying keys, phone, camera, glasses, etc. on the bumper and driving off, but this one beats them all for sure. I never lay anything down that I can drive off or walk off and forget. Lesson learned for me years ago. Guess this is one for you, huh? Sorry it is such a worry bound lesson for sure.

Being they havent turned it in already, its probably not the most well intentioned person that took it.I would be sick to my stomach worrying, but you dont just lay high powered handguns lying around with sunglasses or keys or whatever while you go take a dump. Why didnt you take them with you ? what if a kid picked it up, and goes playing with it and shoots himself? or someone else?
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Hey leanin post, I said to start with it was a dumb stunt, but the area was empty with no one around and I could watch my stuff. just had a brain fart. feel bad enough without you raggin on me. Would not have even posted but I thought someone more responsible than me had found it and was holding it.
