[quote=GoneFishen] Thats called "Stealing" and shouldn't be practiced, much less encouraged/solicited. You prolly use these too ? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300417903688 I don't think you want to get caught with one of those, it may cost you more than the initial $55.00

Gone Fishen if you cant keep up with receipts and follow a warranty keep on spending your money. If a company cant make something hold up doing what its advertised for that is their loss, not mine!!! And by the way a crank telephone works better!!!!LOL

I bought a black & decker at Walmart, about 6 months ago, I finaly used it last weekend, it lasted for 4 fish and burnt up, I took it back to walmart and they gave me a new one, I havn't used it yet, I got some new Piranna blades for my mister twister, Academy had the blades on sale for $4.88 a set.
I would like to have a good 12 volt knife, but I havn't found one even close to working as good as a 110 volt knife!!!

I plug my 12 volt converter into the 12v accessory plug on my boat and plug my 110v Mr. Twister into that. It works great. There is also an outfit that makes a 12v plug that you can put in your trucks trailer plug that you can do the same thing with if you're filleting on your tailgate.

I've had the best luck with the Black&Decker. American anglers are hit and miss. Never tried the mister twister. I've had one rapala and it was weak. Maybe I got a bad one.

Attempt to rationalize or excuse yourself all you care to,I'm not the score keeper. All things come full circle. FWIW,the old phones dont stand a chance with the new poaching technology, the ones confiscated at PK by TPW a few years back were described as devastating in comparison. Back O/T The Mister Twister knives are used in most every BBQ joint for a reason, they last. Gone Fishen if you cant keep up with receipts and follow a warranty keep on spending your money. I used the B&D electric knife all Winter and through the Spring also.Havent had any problems whatsoever! To me this knife has better RPM's than the twister and AA. Don't think I will ever spend more that $10 dollars on a knife again

Found and ordered a 12V adapter plug last night. Good find there Deerstrangler. Now I need to find a better 12V knife that doesn't bog down so much.

I have been using an American Angler for 6 or 7 years, cleaned hundreds if not thousands of white bass and catfish with the thing. Best knife I have ever used. The only problems I have had is trying to keep sharp blades in it. Cleaned 43 blues with it yesterday!
