My brother and I both caught a limit of sandbass yesterday on Hubbard. Fish were there all day (at least until 1:30 when the storm scared me off the lake). We caught about 40 keepers by noon, went and got ice, caught a few more, went and set juglines out on the south end of the lake, then came back and finished our limits. All fish caught on Rapala Shad Raps (b/w SR7) trolling at 3mph.
Storm rolled in and we jetted for the truck - the wind direction switched 180 degrees in like 5 minutes and the temp dropped nearly 10 degrees - a little spooky. Got way wet headed back to the ramp by crashing through rollers the north wind was kicking up.
Same place as I caught them last week (by the warning bouys off the jetty by Bass Pro/Power plant), check my previous post:
