How far back do you read the posts. Almost a year ago and you bring this back up! I'd show you the hook I like but Gary Yamamoto web site has been down for a long time now. It's his split shot 3/0 Gammy hook.

The one that never misses a strike. Of the half dozen I have tried none meet that crtieria. But of the ones I have tried, I prefer the Gamakatsu 2/0 with the flimsy weedguard. +1 great hook
