that site is definitely cheaper than the average retailer...although there are some pretty good deals on ebay

did you look in the Oakley section?? The had the fishing specific Flak Jackets for $175... ugly as sin imo but you cant beat those lenses

yeah, i saw them....i need to go to a store and see which fit i like best and then search the prices.....seeing them from $150 and up

having the open frame around the bottom does not help when running the lake.....then again, some cheapies could solve that.

Get the Fishing Specific lenses. I have the shallow and deep blue iridium lenses in my XLJ half jackets.

another question....how are the specific lenses in everyday use? are these just going to be strictly for fishing, or do they protect well with normal use?

I went to the store to buy my 3rd pair of flacks and left with a Pair of Maui Jims Titanium. 15 years probably 15 pairs of oakleys and I got sold! Lol I didn't realize the black iridium lense was so un clear until I compared them. $100 more bucks than flacks and prob not worth the extra money but they r nice.

I imagine they would be great for everyday use but I use them just for fishing...I have cheap sunglasses for everyday use. I lose or tear up everyday glasses. grin

Chunk- that is exactly what I did when I got my Costa's. I found a pair I liked that fit well then ordered them off of ebay
