Never had a problem with the 5/0 stanley screw hooks but lately ive missed 6 fish in the last 2 trips on them, what do you guys use on your ribbits?

Good question, has anyone tried the double ribbit hook that Academy sells?

isnt there a new gammie light wire frog hook? i use owners, and have to put the wood to them to get a good hookup. ya know its been a good day when I get home and the wife says i have bruises all over my stomach... LOL!

thats also why you should have a specific rod with a soft tip with a fast shut off, and lots of backbone...

had the new stanlry double prong hook break on me the other day, im hopeing it was just a bad hook...
think like a fish, no matter how weird it gets...

I think way more people throw ribbits than hollow frogs. I have never caught a fish on a ribbit but a spro is my go to bait right now. Throw it on braid for sure tho

Are you leaving the hook exposed or tucking it back in? I think everyone misses fish on frogs but yeah you gotta throw em with braid
