Anybody have any current reports on the sandbass at Ray Bob. Where and what to use? I want to take my 4 year old out to catch a few. Any help would be great. Thanks!!

I fished RayBob for Crappie late last week. Caught a ton of small crappie but no bigger ones. Quit that and went to chase the sandies. We found small schools working the surface on both the West and East side of the main point of the lake. The sandies we caught were also small and we had to move quite a bit as the schools would disperse. We left quite a while before sunset, so it may have gotten better later. Good Luck, they should be doing pretty well by now both in the morning and evenings.

Fished the sandies both in the morning and evening in the past couple of days. I have been catching all of mine trolling small crankbaits and rattle traps. The bite is good both morning and evening, but the larger fish seem to be better in the morning.
Try cates point and west of Wolf.
