has anyone else caught 20 plus pound catfish at the dead tree point? seems as though no one believes me.

the last big blue i saw caught was around march of last year. it was caught by a young guy named ray. i didnt take a pic of that one. i have a few pics from previous years . i downloaded photo bucket but still couldnt upload photos

i have a few pics . i tried downloading photo bucket , but i dont know how to upload pics. i probably wouldnt believe myself either. i have pics of my friend w a 25# cat one weekend then another 20 plus pounder the next weekend at the same spot

the regulars that fish braunig from the bank know of that spot. to the right of that spot is a good place for reds. they are only about 20' apart

Im just giving you a hard time! I have fish stories nobody believes but I dont really care,they were pretty neat experiences!

i had a penn 330gti w 330 yds of 30# big game spooled while using a tilapia that weighed around a pound n a half as bait. this happened in grannys cove at calaveras lake.
thats what fisherman do . we give each other and our friends a hard time. if we didnt poke fun play games or bs , then it wouldnt be as fun. the story by the way is true!
