Post this quick before I get backed up...fishing has been great on all bodies of water. Shallow, Deep some days better than others. Fresh shad, Team Catfish hooks 5/0 -8/0 and big Marv's have been my usual producers of fish.
Calaveras- Tff'er Dan, wife Yolanda and Iraq vet Bobby shared some lightning fast action; catching 75 channels in 3 hrs. I did my best amateur downrigging for an hr for 3 hybrids but it's awful hard to go from catching to "fishing":) Life is always good but especially this day.

Choke-
Mike,Denny of Austin and the boys braved some 30 mph winds to find 71 blue tucked away in some protected areas. 3 out of 4 were new to fishing and always the pleasure introducing folks to the fine art of cattin'

Steve & Colton of NB,tx. Last trip Colton caught a crappie for school club that won him state honors and got published in the Herald. Awesome colton. Sunday we managed 50 nice sized blues and lots of laughs in between.

Tffer' Da fan fished Dunlap this week. While action wasnt fast the quality made up for it. Robert caught a PB channel of 9.2 and a mess of fish for 61 pds before calling it a day. Awesome days on the guad.

Today- Calaveras Calvin,Delton and Sharon of Columbus returned for some red hot cally action. Knew we had to get after it with the winds coming in. Caught 75 fish in little over 3 hrs and ate some fine dried sausage afterwards....thanks again

May is filled up but June is fairly open and fishing should continue to be excellent. Give me a call and we'll go catching. Night or day.
