planning on hitting e.m. im the morning. thinking about putting in at shady grove and stating our quest there, then move up to indian creek, and end up by the river. does that sound like a good plan? my gut feeling is that if we do that every fish in the lake will be hugging the dam. lol. i hope to hva a good report for y'all tomorrow night.

I figured from reading his latest he might be out in search for one of those helmets. Those river monsters can get a little rough.
Started out with nothing and still have most of it left.

well..... too tired to even type last night so here we go. got to oak grove about 8:45 and watched some folks surfing and decided that it might be a little windy to put in. caught some bait and moved up to west bay. caught some more bait. mostly sunfish, drum, some shad, and the biggest crappie i've ever seen. we got on our life perservers and put in. snuck down to the 1st cove south. 3-4 ft. rollers, white caps, and a good soaking. didn't want to make the news. anchored up as close to the point as we could. fished until the wind died down and caught two chanels 2.5# on liver in the reeds and one blue 4# on live sunfish off the point. moved over to indian creek. a little rain and 20 mins. of north wind. most likely outflow. two spots one blue 7# one lmb 3#. moved up to the river. spent about 45 mins. .one something that got hung and broke off. probably would have been the new lake record. lol. moved over to the west shore and fishged three spots and caught 4 blues the bigest went 8.5#. 2 on cut drum w/ dead red, 1 on live sunfish, one on shad. got back to west bay about 3;30. fun day.

also thank you Bro. Terry. you made this day possible for gary and me. all day long it was we did this when we went out with terry and terry said this and terry wouldn't do this. we finally built a little Bro. Terry altar and the wind died down, the fish started just jumping into the boat, there was a single ray of sunshine beaming down our boat, and our fuel tank stayed full. and the strangest of all when i went to get the truck to load the boat, someone had stuck hundred dollar bills under my windshield wipers. y'all might want to consider booking a trip with this man just saying.

Bro Dave, you are beginning to talk like Bro Terry. At least you do not look much alike, so we can still tell you apart. Good report, but kinda got lost when you jumped from first cove south of West Bay all the way to Indian Creek. Seems like you would have dabbled a bit at Lake View to see if cats in the rocks yet.
