early morning live bait late morning thru the entire day trolling. find the birds working ???? just about anything the floats and looks like a shad.. hire a guide and keep your eyesand ears open and you will learn alot...

mostly eagle mountain want to try benbrook or grandbury or whitney There are several guys on the forum that fish all of those lakes, you can probably send them a PM and get some pretty good information on a one on one type basis, several of the lakes you mentioned are amaller and a lot of guy don't want to give out too much info as it can get crowded. As one said keep your eyes open.

i am somewhat new to stripers in the last few years,,,but- here are a few decent ideas, Always have a rod ready to cast in case you are near the stripers hitting the surface (chug bugs/zara spooks/bombers/flukes) Watch for birds diving and gathering. Troll baits near areas you pick up on your fish finder. I have caught alot of stripers at t-wok on white bombers -deep diving. They will hit a variety of baits trolling....go to moes tackle on line and look at their selection.The shanghai selection is good. Live shad is always good.
I caught alot of stripers in alabama on top with white flukes...tore them up.The larger sizes. I like the swim baits as well.
