Is anything happening at Bridgeport?

Hey Boys,
B-port has been S-L-O-W to say the least. I am not sure it is possible this late in the year,(It is 90 out though) but I think the lake has just turned over, has that murky look to it.
I have been able to find Sandies but I have to do alot of looking to find fish that want to bite. There are a few birds out and about, but not really working.
The bottom line is we need a period of cold weather to kick this lake into gear!

Thanks for the report Kieth. I still can't quite understand what is wrong with B-port! Fishing has been poor for more than a month. I saw evidence of the lake turning over 3 - 4 weeks ago! Where are the birds? It is a mystery to me especially when you read reports about lakes that are close by, and they are biting like crazy, and the birds are showing them the way. It has been a tough month on B-port. Mule

I had gone out about a week and a half ago. Didn't catch anything, but really wasn't trying to hard. It's just unusual for me to troll without even a nibble. Went up/down both sides of the channel, out around the submerged rocks and on the flats north of the island. Slabbed & jigged a while. Saw em on the finder, they were sitting in lawn chairs just off the bottom sippin suds and laughing (Ha Ha). Just had one of those days and was wondering if it had picked up...Looks like it has!

I had the same kind of trips, marked a ton but caught only a few here and there. The lake is looking better and it is nice and cool tonight. The lake is now 10 feet low, the ramps are getting steep. The "low water" ramp on the South side of 380, (just as you cross the bridge) is probably the best to get in and out without a lot of trouble. My November is finally getting busy so I will keep you posted on how I do. Keith www.lakebridgeportguideservice.com
