 I will never forget this fishing trip....

When I was around 15 years old and went fishing at Lake Tawakoni with my mom, dad, and little sister. We were fishing off the bank and late that night this man came over to our camp site screaming and hollering he has this HUGE fish on his kids Snoopy fishing poll and he can't get it in! So he asked my dad and I to help him out. My dad got out in the water and tried to get it but it was still pretty far out and very heavy. So, lol.. my dad had this pistol that he carried around, like a 38 or something. He got out in the water again and shot it in the head. lol.. Well, the fish stopped fighting so they could finally drag it in. I remember when they pulled it up to the light by the camp fire and held him up my little sister could of fit inside this catfishes mouth. That is how big it was! That was the biggest fish I have ever seen in my life and still can not believe this man caught it on a Snoopy pole like this...

I can see it now, a company in the fishing business marketing an expensive/top level rod for children. "...introducing the team catfish secret 7 half ton dead red furry thang snoopy pole; complete with red handle and a cool hole to put your finger in" Sorry I've been watching too many of the team catfish videos lol

Thanks Chase, now I have to find another secret weapon.  You got my favorite lure too.  BTW the Scooby Doo rod used to be my favorite.

That reminds me of a story my buddy told me. Flying around the lake passes boat with just some dude sitting there fishing by himself. Comes back past the spot about 10 minutes later and there is a female in the boat who wasn't visable the first time.
He must of had a mickey mouse rod and a minnie bobber.
