My opinion, this time of year I like to focus more on secondary points in creeks in the 6-12 foot range opposed to beating the banks. Also, I like to work some of the main timber towards the middle of creeks in the same depth. You might not get as many bites but the ones you get are usually going to be a little bigger fish. The last two years this time and a little earlier I have caught a 9 and 10 out of Ray Bob working the slightly deeper water while everyone else was stirring up the dirt in the shallow water. Then again this is just my personal opinion.

Find grass - fish it. Use a jig
you know, nothing wrong with seven men who met on the internet going for a swim together

Tie on a shaky head and fish the marina...Get yourself a limit and then venture out from there...There is a allot of good fishable water this time of year in the main lake area without rolling the dice in the timber...Be careful!
Also, do a search for Ray Roberts on here, there are a few guys on fish on this forum.

Think top water early in the day and maybe all day if the clouds last.
