hey everybody i just found the site and had to join. i was raised in east texas and just moved to san antonio. i'm stationed at ft sam houston and was wondering how the striper/white bass fishing is in the area. i want to go to the guadalupe river but don't know where to go. thanks, russell

I don't know anything about the Guadalupe but I'm sure there are plenty of folks here that do. Just wanted to say welcome to the forum.

I'm in the Army. I'm going to AIT here at Ft Sam for school. Training to be a radiology specialist(x-ray tech).

I know that the spawning run typically often starts within that part of Texas mid Feb. Look for rivers / creeks that feed the regoinal lakes.
