I'm not really a tournamet fisherman, but I have plenty of good quality rods and reels and lures of various types and lots of experience. I've not been on Conroe before. I think I read that for bass fishing it's mostly fishing crappie brushpiles, which to my mind means mostly dropshotting, which I'm pretty good at. (I kind of like to use the Chompers 7" worms, which come garlic flavored, but I have a variety of finesse worms.) I'd love to go out with someone, whether in a tournament or not. Just tell me what to bring and I'll probably have it.

I have a 20' bass boat back home in Ft Worth but have been in Houston for 6 months now on a programming job, living in an extended stay america -- have to go where the work is these days. Don't have the boat here, so looking for someone (non-smoker) willing to take on a backseater. I'll pay for gas, since you're paying for the boat, and I know what that's like.
