If any of you guys haven't been to CC in the past month or so, please be very careful at the public ramp on 334. The end of the ramp is just under water after that there's a huge drop off. I have seen a trailer damaged and last week Eric was waiting for me at the ramp and he said that a 20' Bass Boat could not launch due to the lack of water. I have sprayed the rails on my trailer with reel magic and I just have to pull down the ramp until the back of the boat is over the water, then unhook her and give it a push, slides right off into the water and it's just as easy to get back on. I just have to have the ends of the rails touching the water and I can drive right up easy as pie. The ramp on the south side has the most water under it.

We were just there on Wednesday, and wouldn't launch there, went to Big Cheifs and it was a mess, and went down that side road beside big cheifs to Sandy Shores, and they have a deep ramp. No problem, the guy charges $5.00 to launch.

Yes robin, We don't know how Sharon missed it. We snagged a ski rope drifting from a heavy anchor it stopped us 'cold'. We had to unwind 3 wraps around the prop. We were in Caddo Guys White ProCraft. See pics on subject = Cedar Creek today.

Thanks for the warning. I saw a similar situation a few weeks back at the free launch at 198 at Caney City... unless you launch directly in the middle, there is a big drop-off and you could damage your axle if you tried to pull up.
Last Tuesday night I launched at Don's Port and it was fine... they have a pretty good ramp there.
John 5:24 Very truly I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
1Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit.

Sandy Shores ramp is fine. When we came out of the water there was a big yellow ski rope wraped around our prop. It's gettin very dangerous, even when you find a good ramp, there are just a whole lot of things floating from the bottom that can cause alot of damage. We saw some really good looking docks though that will be great when the water comes back up. Look out crappie, I've been scouting you out!!!!
