I caught this exact same bass LAST Friday and even posted a pic of it on here titled 'I saw her first' ...you may remember. I caught her today in the exact same spot as last Friday. I released her back to that spot and promised her I will not cast her way ever again.......until next Friday..lol. Seriously though, I really won't bother her again.

one night I broke of a big bass in pretty deep water on a tube bait. I came back a couple hours later and caught the same one and retrieved my tube bait and hook from it's mouth. It was a crazy night.

my buddy caught and released a 5 lb which was blind in one eye on big blue. the very next spring he caught the same fish on the same fence line but it weighed over six. he was still eating good with that good eye

Fishing a gravel pit I caught the same fish 3 times over the course of 4-5 days. Most beautifully colored bass I remember catching, although only around 12". Hit the same lure each time. Unfortunately, he got gill-hooked the 3rd day and didn't swim away.

Another time, had a good fish break my line. 30 minutes later Dad hollers to come look at the 6 lber he had just caught...that had my recently jacked Exude worm and hook in his throat.

No fish is too good for the grease.

On Tuesday, I broke off a 4 lber pulled from a laydown.

On Wednesday, I went back to the EXACT same laydown, at the EXACT same time, with the EXACT same lure, and made the EXACT same cast as last time....and the same fish took the bait again. But this time I landed her. woot

That's kewl! Here is a fact that some folks may not know.. Fish have two memories, one for each eye. If you catch a fish at one time (or lose it if that is the case) and come back a short time later and catch it again, the fish will probably have seen the offering with the other eye (the first time would have likely been seen with the opposite eye). I just read this fact this week. I didn't know it before.
