Ask:
Why he wanted to become a doctor?

Which lure manufacturer suggested he start a tv show to promote his lures?

Who gave him his first tennessee cap?

Who caught the first bass in B.A.S.S history?

Is he afraid of snakes?

Does he remember fishing at flat top ranch in walnut springs? First time I met him

Ask him who he thinks is the best Bass fisherman in the world
(besides himself of course).

Ask him if he could fish one of our Texas lakes, which one would it be and why.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know when to go fishing.

Thanks for all the feedback fellas. The interview date is sometime in the next two weeks when Bill has a little time. I told his secretary today that the interview would take 15-20 minutes and she said " that's what you think." LOL, I have a feeling he is gonna be a talker...I will keep him on the phone as long as he wants to talk!

She then told me he wanted me to find out what you guys wanted to know. So ask away. I will try to ask him everything. Show will air sometime in the next couple weeks. Will keep ya posted for sure.

Ask him if he can use a computer guy at his studio....and do fishing privileges at his lakes come with the job...:)

OK seriously...ask him what his favorite spinner bait blade size and style is and what skirt color he prefers and what kind of trailer/color does he usually use.

3/8 oz weight single Colorado blade, black skirt.

Which crankbait generates strikes the best? Flat-sided or the fat style....

If you keep him on there long enough you could do a multipart show

The guy could (can) fish and has two BASS AOY titles to his credit. I wonder if he regrets not going for more, or if he feels like he's "been there, done that" and had little left to prove.

Thanks Bass Johnson...I've only looked on line and they never have them. Will look next time I go to BPS! Do they really work as well as they do on his show????
I would like to try it out on some of those "chunks" he catches!

I honestly don't really use mine that often, but in theory yes it would work well. I just always have my leatherman on me and forget to grab the tool.

Since he started fishing before the advanced electronics we have today, and his depth finder broke on a lake he didn't know how would he game plan. Did the weights back in the day differ that much from today in Tourneys. Who today would he be the most worried about if they were 1&2 on the final day of the Classic. And a big THANKS next to my dad and grandpa, he was a huge factor in getting me hooked on fishing!
