a/c will freeze you out at low rpm,the higher your rpm goes,the warmer the air gets.almost like vent air.while at idle the compressor clutch is engaged,but not sure at highway speed.any help would be appriciated!

have you checked to see if it's low on refrigerant? first thing I would do. You can get a kit at the local autoparts like O'Reily of Autozone comes with can of refrigerant, guage and quick connect hose.
