I drove by my Housing District's pond today and They brought in 200 bass, 200 catfish, and 100 perch on a truck and restocked my neighborhoods pond. Can't wait to go slam some of them big suckers they put in there.

So this is how the first experience went out on the pond. I decided its time to learn a lil more about fishing so I setup a weightless fluke setup with an attached barrel 8in away from my fluke so it gives it that good ol bait fish chasing a bait fish effect. I threw that sucker out there one time and boom my first ever hit on a fluke i was verry happy I was on the phone with a buddy telling him how it was my first time to try these and then I caught one right off the bat. Well the first did get away he jumped out of the water and spit that sucker out. Well this got me excited I was like wow flukes are amazing... I then threw that sucker in the 2nd time and boom another fish right off the bat I was still on the phone while all this was happening! I got this one and measured it at a good healthy 13inches no scale on me to tell how big it was but I am guessing a pound and a half. Flukes are going to become one of my new best friends.

That's a really interesting stocking ratio. Does the pond already have a huge supply of bluegills? If not, there may be problems ahead.
