okay I started a batch today- 50 lb sac milo, 6 small yeast packets and 1 lb sugar and plenty of water.had it bubbling in less than 45 minutes. Does anyone add anything else? dead fishes, stink bait, liver , wife's tuna casserole,or anything?

you can add anything from ground up minnows, dried up stink bait, or some fish tails.

your good with just the milo. I try to use a 50/50 cracked corn and milo to make it go further. The cracked corn was cheaper than milo by a good bit last year.

just let it sit as it is. BUT! if you just "have" to add something After its ripe (before use) Add a quart of cooking oil to the bucket and mix it well. It makes for one nasty/stanky oil slick that drifts for miles

40 oz of Steele Reserve Malt Liquor Beer. . Also check your water level every other day you want to keep the grain covered with water.

Keep it covered with water and wait. All that other stuff won't make a dang if you let the maggots get into it. They'll take the stink out.

Personally, I'm a big fan of the Ram's Urine. Gotta lot of stank to it. But, if ya can't get Ram's urine, you can always invite a couple buddies over for a case of beer and take turns freshening up the milo yourselves............ LOL

All the time. just need enough water to cover the top of the grain like a few inches. If not you will starting growing wheat inside the drum. I have seen this before with Catfishsalsa's grandfather. His neighbour didn't put enough water over the grain and a month later it was wheat growing. Hope this helps.
