My buddy Joe and I had a good day on CC, but we had to work a little to find the fish. There are schools of shad everywhere, along with some of those lying birds mentioned in other posts. We caught all our fish on the spillway hump. The schools seemed to be moving around a lot, so we would troll the hell-pet to find fish, then throw a marker and catch a few on jigging spoons and slabs until they moved. Then back to the hell-pet to search again. Most fish were around the edges where the depth dropped from 14-21 feet. Caught 50-60 sandies and yellows, and one 18" hybrid, kept 24 of the best sandies and released the hybrid. Nearly all sandies were keepers, with most 12"+ and some up to 16". No Billy sighting today.

I was in hiding, like not there. Since noone wants me as a SandBAss guide anymore, am trying to improve my Crappie catching abilities, think I have a lot learn on that type of fishing.
