100% correct, that said joe pool it totally over run with small carp...and I am the common carp's biggest advocate.

as far as omnivorous, common carp have pharyngeal teeth and would probably be classified as more of an invertivore / detritivore then just a simple omnivore just to avoid confusion.

The camera used is a Canon Rebel XS. It is a digital camera capable of shooting up to 10mp. I used the stock lens and had it set on auto so no fancy settings as I am still learning to use it.

The method in which they feed which is by foraging along the bottom and straining their food from the sediment uproots aquatic plants(such as grass) and makes the water muddy. And they are omnivores, no two ways about it, they eat aquatic invertibrates, plants, and algae. So back to what I said to begin with...

Between them and TPW hacking the grass out there will never be veg in Joe Pool again.

No that one I can respect. I consider myself a fisherman, not a crappieman or a catfishman just a fisherman. I have as much fun catching little perch as I do big catfish or bass.

The majority of the fish I catch get put back anyways. It's the fun of being outdoors, catching fish, telling stories and meeting like minded people that keeps me fishing.

Whoa.. Ok... I'm off the soapbox now. Don't know what hit me. lol
