Just another day in paradise, fished from 7:45 til 11:30 found fish in two areas and managed to catch several.
First group of fish was on the upwind side of a small hump near the A-Frame, water was 9.8' on the top of the hump and the fish seemed to be in 12-14', I used the I-Pilot feature to "anchor" on the spot and picked up 11 legal fish and 2 sand bass. Most were caught on a shad colored SmackBait, the first couple on a glow CocoMoe with a spiked tail.
I moved on south and should have stayed, caught 2 short hybrids there, both on a clear glitter sassy shad with a chartreuse head.

Based on some recent posts this fish would have weighed about 8 pounds. hooked

Will that motor really keep you within 5 ft of
your spot ? How much wind can it handle ?

How much thrust/ how big is your boat.

I may have to beg a ride to see that in action.

The boat is a 21.5' Center console, the TM is a 24 volt 84 pound thrust, I think?

The data from MK says a 5' radius, so that would give you a 10' circle, pretty sure it will hold it at that.

I was in the wind today, as long as the troller stays in the water you should hold, pretty amazing to see. even better to fish with.

Come over some time and check it out.

The shoe belongs to Shaquile Oneal, he was fishing with me today as it was an off day for him. juggle

BTW, while I'm in a pimpin' mood I caught the fish in the picture with a Temple Fork Outfitters Signature Series rod, 6'6"
MH.
These are great rods and hard to beat for the money.
