I just bought a new to me curado 100 that I was planning on using for heavy pitching. The reel is in great shape, but the drag will not tighten enough for the application I intend to use it for. Is there anyway to increase the drag tension on this reel(different washers etc.) Thanks in advance

Nobody has info on this drag question. I dont think the drag is holding as well as it should so I am hopeful that I can just replace something to get it back up to snuff.

Replace the stock drag washers with Carbontex Drag washers.

Thank you,

did oil get in the washers? that reel should have around 10 lbs of drag pressure.

Thanks for the input guys. Where can I get a set of these and can I install them myself with limited knowledge of tearing reels down. Thanks
