The first wave of Florida largemouth bass stockings slated for Choke Canyon will arrive tomorrow. Approximately 180,000 Florida bass fingerlings will be stocked in the newly flooded brush. The reservoir is scheduled to received right at 500,000 Florida bass this year. Check out the district's Facebook page for information pertaining to the district's lakes:

That's great news and great timing on the stocking of these fish. Maybe that will quiet some of the remarks for a while about Choke not getting any love from the state.

I wish they were Northerns mixed w/ Fl.'s do to they are more agressive.

No they had them all the last few years but since the dry spell of lunkers may as well put them in lakes that have donated the last couple of years stir
