Went fishing yesterday, up by the hog creek/middle bosque area. Right by the Bald Eagles nest. It seemed like I couldnt get the hooks baited fast enough. The channel cat were on fire. I was in about 3-5 ft of water and the water temp was 74*. Only fished a little over an hour because the old lady started to feel bad but ended up with 8 eaters, and about 3x more hits than that.

Waco should be fixing to get going real good!! Yeah thats what I'm thinking. It seems like anywhere around structure and 2-6 ft of water the channel cat are biting

yea last time i went to my fishing hole on the creek limb lining i couldnt keep em baited but a few minutes b4 i had fish on. caught 17 in 3 hrs. & had a lot more bites. all nice blue cats.

Homemade punch bait with #4 treble. I get it from a guy who sells it to local stores I grew up with his son and it works great!
