Is this contest only for Texas water? I'm stationed at Edwards Air Force Base in California but they send me to Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth a few times a year. I'm in Ft Worth now but I have to go back to California on the 11th. Edwards is in the middle of the Mojave Desert but we have a nice little pond on base.

I enjoy my trips to Texas and fish as often as I can. Trinity, Lake Worth, and Eagle Mountain.....

Just catch a bass and measure it.# visible,front and back ruler visible,bank fishing you are in.

here it is my fish for the day the one to beat haha  it weighed in at 6.47 caught on a little worm five inches long haha
can't catch fish if you arent at the lake...go fish!!!

I caught this one that was just over 16 inches and caught him on a bed. Was pitching a white football headed jig in and he kept just grabbing skirt and so i put a trailer hook on and next cast he hooked up.  Length Comparison

dont both ends of the ruler have to be visible just curious why some photos have half the fishes head covered up as well as the front of the ruler. Just my .02

Here's my entry from the Trinity River. It ended up being 16.25". The problem is all I had was my phone and the glare was bad so I didn't know I had missed the tip of the tail in the pic. Doesn't matter because there are bigger ones on the web page for this week.
